We booked this accommodation for 1 night as a stopover on our way to the Cape. However, we were caught unawares by the beauty of the surroundings!  There is a vineyard, a lavender field, a stream runs through it, a gorgeous long rectangular pool for swimming lengths,  a fully equipped poolhouse where one can bbq, beautifully kept grounds, and of course, a backdrop of red rock mountain ranges, hence the name!  There are hiking routes.  The units are original farm buildings which have been converted into modern, comfortable and spacious accommodation.  Very upmarket and focused on quality.  Fabulous roomy shower ánd bath!  King size bed with percale linen.  Fully self-catering.  An added bonus, a wood burning fireplace!
